Sam and Katie’s wedding weekend along 30A was rooted in tradition, family, and a quiet love that feels steady and sure. I began documenting their celebration at the rehearsal dinner at The Boathouse in WaterColor, where one of the most meaningful details of the weekend unfolded. Katie wore her mother’s wedding dress, and watching guests recognize it, sharing stories and memories from years before, was one of my favorite moments. It was a beautiful reminder of how deeply their story is tied to the people who came before them. Their wedding day at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach carried that same intentionality. Everything centered on family. I especially loved how they prioritized taking photos with their extended family. It spoke volumes about how close and connected their family is, something that feels increasingly rare. Sam’s calm, steady presence grounded the entire day. The way he looks at Katie makes it clear: she is his everything.
